    Cooking Instructions

    1. Preheat your oven to 350 degrees
      1. Set up oven to use middle racks
    2. Line cookie sheets with parchment paper
    3. Combine all dry ingredients, except oats
    4. In another bowl, cream together vegan butter and both sugars (by hand or mixer)
    5. Add flax eggs and vanilla to the wet mixture until just combined
    6. Slowly add the dry mixture to the wet one until it's uniform and fully mixed
    7. Stir in the oats and chocolate chips
      1. If the dough is too stiff, you can add a splash of water
      2. If it’s too loose, you can add a little more flour
    8. Roll dough into walnut size balls then use the flat bottom of a cup or glass to press down each cookie.
    9. Bake 10-12 minutes until edges are just beginning to get a golden tinge
