Ingredients:
  • 2 heads cauliflower
  • 2 cups flour
  • 1 tablespoon corn starch
  • 2 cups water
  • 1/2 teaspoon salt
  • 1/2 teaspoon pepper
  • 1 tablespoon chili powder
  • 1/4 cup vegetable oil
  • 1 small onion
  • 1 tablespoon ketchup
  • 1/2 cup sweet chili sauce
  • 1/4 cup soy sauce
  • 4 tablespoons minced garlic
  • This delicious dish is something we tried for the first time a few weeks ago after going to an amazing Indian restaurant with some friends. It was so delicious, I felt we had to make it at home! This is our attempt at making this unbelievably tasty dish. Prepare yourself (and kitchen) and let's get to it!

    Cooking Instructions

    1. Rinse and cut cauliflower into bite sized pieces
    2. To make the batter, grab a large bowl and mix together:
      • 2 cups flour
      • 1 tablespoon corn starch
      • 2 tablespoons garlic
      • 1 tablespoon chili powder
      • 2 cups water
      • 1/2 teaspoon salt and pepper
    3. Dip the cauliflower into the batter, allow any excess batter to drip off, and place on wax paper
    4. With the cauliflower batter in the air fryer, sprinkle a little vegetable oil on top
    5. Air fry at 375 °F for 45 mins
    6. To make the sauce, grab a medium sized pot and add:
      • 1/4 cup vegetable oil
      • 1 small onion, diced
      • 2 tablespoons garlic
      • 1 tablespoon ketchup
      • 1/2 cup sweet chili sauce
      • 1/4 cup soy sauce
    7. Simmer over medium heat for 15-20 minutes
    8. When the cauliflower is crispy and the sauce is done, combine together in an oven-safe dish
    9. (Optional, for extra crispiness) Broil on low heat in the oven for 3-5 minutes

    Enjoy!
